Chef Robert Wood has been managing professional kitchens for 25 years. Starting in restaurants as a teenager, Robbie eventually cooked at places across the country. Chef Wood left the beach front fish shacks of his youth to work in 5-star hotels and fine dining restaurants, eventually landing in Washington, DC from his hometown Savannah, GA. He travels often to learn about new ingredients and experience other cultures. Chef Robbie continues his education in multiple ways, recently earning a Certification in Culinary Medicine.
Robbie’s experience as an Executive Chef led him to start a small hospitality group here in DC, which operates EcoCaters (www.ecocaters.com) and SuperFd Performance Nutrition (www.mysuperfd.com). Both companies leverage local and Organic sources to provide high quality products and services to their clients. EcoCaters focuses on special event and corporate catering, while SuperFd provides integrated food solutions for professional sports franchises. (Washington, DC) @mysuperfd
