Dr. Rachel Blaine is a registered dietitian, faculty member at California State University, Long Beach, and scientific advisor to the California Walnut Commission, where she leads the Global Health Research Program. She teaches graduate-level nutrition communication and is passionate about translating sound science into meaningful, real-world impact. Rachel received the Outstanding Dietetic Educator Award from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in recognition of her leadership and commitment to education. She holds degrees from UC Davis, UCLA, and Harvard and believes good science should always translate to good food. (California)
