Paul Newnham is the CEO of the SDG2 Advocacy Hub, the global coalition driving action to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger. He is a systems innovator and systems interrupter, leading international advocacy and campaigning at the intersection of food systems, climate, nutrition and equity, working with governments, UN agencies, civil society, chefs and the private sector. Paul is the founder of the Chef’s Manifesto, mobilizing chefs worldwide as advocates for sustainable and nutritious food systems, and a co-founder of the Beans is How campaign, accelerating the shift toward pulse-based diets for people and planet. With a background in global development and strategic advocacy, Paul is known for building diverse coalitions, translating complex policy agendas into compelling public action, and positioning food as a powerful lever for social, environmental and economic change.
