Matthew Beaudin ‘05

Chef & Global Sustainability Advocate, Seafood Watch Blue Ribbon Task Force

Matthew Beaudin ‘05 is a global sustainability chef, storyteller, and strategic advisor working at the intersection of food, culture, and responsibility. With more than a decade building over 120 partnerships across cultural institutions, attractions, and higher education, he focuses on strategic sourcing, healthy eating initiatives, and operational sustainability that actually works in the real world.
His perspective is grounded in kitchens, not conference rooms. He understands food as relationship first. Farmers, fishermen, ranchers, students, operators. He believes food is fuel and food is life, and that every ingredient carries labor, sacrifice, and consequence.
Matt speaks, consults, and collaborates with brands and institutions ready to rethink how they source, serve, and tell their food story. His work connects culinary grit with environmental responsibility, pushing organizations to move beyond performative sustainability and into measurable action that supports people, planet, and long-term viability.
