Lloyd B. Minor, MD, is the Carl and Elizabeth Naumann dean of the school of medicine and vice president for medical affairs at Stanford University. Under his leadership, Stanford Medicine has advanced precision health, transforming how complex diseases are predicted, prevented, and treated. His book, Discovering Precision Health, explores how biomedical innovation is reshaping patient care. In 2023, Dr. Minor launched the Responsible AI for Safe and Equitable (RAISE) Health initiative in partnership with the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence to guide the responsible integration of AI into research, education, and clinical care. A professor of Otolaryngology -Head and Neck Surgery, and professor of Bioengineering and Neurobiology (by courtesy), Dr. Minor is an expert in balance and inner ear disorders. He has authored more than 160 scientific publications and was elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2012. (Palo Alto, CA)
