Jim Leape, MD

Jim Leape is the William and Eva Price Senior Fellow and co-director of the Center for Ocean Solutions in the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. At Stanford, Jim has led work on ocean conservation, food systems, and the societal transition to sustainability. Before coming to Stanford, he was Director General of WWF International and leader of the global WWF Network. Previously, he worked at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation; WWF-US; and the United Nations Environment Programme. Jim has served as an advisor to the World Economic Forum and several other organizations. He has an A.B. and a J.D. from Harvard University.
